This fall, we challenged ninth-grade students from BwC’s brand-new high school to imagine where they want to be eight years from now.

Check out the above picture of Anna, a current student at Hunter College and previous Legacy Network Office intern, running one of the career workshops. Anna and other Legacy Network students and young professionals played an instrumental role in the school’s first College and Career Day.
As we reflect on the significance of this momentous occasion, we recognize the immense impact it holds for both the high schoolers and students from our network. It is through such collaborative initiatives that we foster a nurturing environment, propelling all of our students towards a brighter future. Now, we will challenge ourselves to think creatively and come up with ways — including connecting them with career mentors, internships, and scholarships — to help prepare them to pursue their dreams. Together, we can build a legacy of success and empowerment.
